Kiyomizu Temple

Ninianzaka Street
18:00Ninenzaka Street (二年坂街, Ninenzaka) is a historically rich stone-paved ramp in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto, connecting Kiyomizu Temple and Sanzenzaka. It is one of the most popular traditional districts in Kyoto, known for its well-preserved wooden townhouses and stone-paved old roads. The street is lined with various teahouses, specialty stores, kimono rental stores and cafes, making it an ideal place to experience the old Kyoto charm and buy souvenirs. Especially in the early morning or late afternoon, Ninisaka Street seems to be so quiet that it seems like a step back in time, making it a perfect place for photography and a leisurely stroll.
